Grandma Blanche's
Her father, Bishop Lewis, was very ambitious. Through his parents were born as slaves, Lewis was born free. Eventually, he taught his daughter that she, too, could be anything in America, and with that, he gave her a gift. He taught her to cook.

As she grew, her culinary passion took her to another level. She found her skills and strengths as she prepared meals for her church family, dear friends, and traveling visitors. Grandma Blanche's earned a living cooking for a wealthy, white family and over time, meal after meal, this sauce became her staple.
